Yes, it's been super hot here in Chicago and I'm experiencing a shortage of swimwear. And for being made of such little cloth, it's amazing how much swimsuits cost. convertible for the summer

I wanted to share this new dress I got from Victoria's Secret. It's basically a tube dress with two long sashes and it can be worn about 20 ways.

When I first ordered it I was skeptical because

A. I don't look like a VS model so it probably won't fit like the pictures and

B. I won't have someone styling me to get the straps in the right place

But I went ahead and ordered it and here are the results (please don't laugh at my pathetic attempt at modeling...)

All in all I am pretty impressed. And this is only 7 out of like 20 looks you can accomplish with this thing.

I must admit, it did take me a while to get a hang of wrapping the sashes right and getting them to not be so lumpy when you attach them at the waist, but for $79 I would say it's a worthy purchase!

this is how short I am

I ordered a couple pairs of yoga leggings from Victoria's Secret last week because they are great to sit on the couch and watch tv and eat frosties work out in. I ordered this guy:and this guy:both in black. I got them in the mail today and I tried on the first pair thinking they were clearly the ankle version.Good stuff right? Until I tried on the other pair expecting the cropped version:So the first pair was actually the cropped version. And you can't really tell from the picture, but this is with me hiking them up! Yay for being 5'2 1/5"!

P.S. Dear boyfriend, if you are reading this I hate to break it to you but I may never take off these leggings again. They are freaking comfty. Hope you made reservations somewhere legging friendly for Valentines... xoxo
