Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Face Not So Real

So I was reading Us Weekly and stumbled upon an article about the new Bravo series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It said one of the wives Taylor Armstrong was going to undergo dermal filler procedures in the first episode so I obviously had to tune in!

Turns out Armstrong was injected by fellow housewife Arienne Maloof's husband who is a Plastic Surgeon in California.

Armstrong also said she got the procedure done because she felt pressure to stay beautiful and young looking.

Erika Freaks Out in the SpIN Crowd About Lip Augmentation

The Spin Crowd is a new "reality" show on E! starring Jonathan Cheban, the owner of Command PR. The show is formally known as The Spindustry, although nobody seems to care that the show produced by Kim Kardashian suddenly resurfaced with a new name.

Well last night Cheban ordered his first year associate Erika Ledesma to get dermal fillers in her lips and he even went as far as to pay for the procedure and set up the appointment.

In case you didn't see the show, Ledesma CRIED about a. having her boss tell her she needed to enhance her lips and b. after, during and before her procedure about the devastating transformation she was making to have to keep her job.

Well hunny, if you want to play ball in the big leagues, you gotta step up to the plate.

As someone who's had numerous lip fillers injected I can say it certainly doesn't make you unrecognizable.

I think her attitude towards the procedure and Cheban's suggestion was childish, there's no difference from putting on some spanks to squeeze into an Alice + Olivia dress than to get a little filler in your lips. You're still using outside measures to achieve a "more desirable look" that society has established.

So grow up girl, but thanks for the dermal filler PR (any press is good press as Im sure Cheban knows) and Im sure Restylane and Juvederm appreciate the product placement!

1. Lips: It is clear that Megan�s lips are much, much bigger than they used to be and she�s lost the pretty bow in her top lip due to new engorgement ! Dr. Sharon Giese, a plastic surgeon in New York City told us, �Megan had her lips over injected, that is the biggest thing.� Dr. Jennifer Walden, another New York City plastic surgeon agrees noting Megan appears to have, �soft tissue fillers in her lips.�
2. Botox: Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami thinks the starlet has definitely had Botox. �She�s definitely getting Botox and a lot of it,� he said. �Around her eyes and near her eyebrows to keep that smoothness she had four years ago. It�s making her look waxy. She has that frozen look from Botox.� Dr. Walden agrees saying it, �appears she has undergone Botox injections to her forehead and crow�s feet to give it that smooth appearance.�
3. Cheeks: Almost all the surgeons we spoke with agreed Megan has had her cheeks filled. �Her cheeks have been enhanced, maybe with a filler like Radiesse, Juvederm, or Restylane,� says Dr.Bruce Katz of the Juva Skin and Laser Center in Manhattan. Dr. Steven Pearlman, a NYC plastic surgeon notes the actress has, �jumped on the facial filler bandwagon. Her cheeks appear fuller and more round.� Dr. Katz claims that this procedure in particular is becoming very popular with women in their twenties!

Kathy Hilton knows how to keep a secret

Wife of Rick Hilton, partial heir to the Hilton hotel chain, and mother of famous daughters Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, Kathy has had her fair share in the spotlight. This 49 year old hottie for a mommy looks great for her age but could it be all natural? Nothing wrong there, most women her age would die to look as good as she does!

Her face is smooth and lacking wrinkles indicating she could have had Botox injections as well as dermal fillers to fill in the creases. Who knows, she may have even had a face lift or blepharoplasty as well to give her the well-rested appearance that she has. Her appearance does not necessarily match her age and this could also just be due to good genes; Kudos to you Kathy!
This last photo was taken in the 90's and from the other more recent pictures taken of Kathy, a decade later, she seems to have a similar youthful appearance.

Plastic Bunny

Traci Bingham is a former playboy bunny and Baywatch �actress�, who has also become a staple on the reality tv circuit. Baywatch, if you didn't already know, was that great show that consisted of beautiful women running around the sunny beaches of California saving people in skimpy red bathing suits. famousplastic.com states, "It�s easy to see why Traci has been unable to find steady acting work once Baywatch ended. After all of the plastic surgery she has had done, she looks like every other wannabe model in Los Angeles. Girls that look like that are a dime a dozen in Hollywood." (ouch!)

Although they didn't have the nicest things to say about this former playboy bunny, who are we to judge? Perhaps she has had a little too much filler injected into her lips, causing a swollen and unnatural look, as well as opting for implants too large for her body frame.. To each their own I suppose. That California look isn't for everyone, I guess.

Tennis Star Lindsay Davenport gets Botox and Juvederm

Lindsay Davenport, the 32 year-old tennis star, has admitted to receiving Botox and Juvederm injections. I am glad to see this professional athlete speaking freely about her experience with plastic surgery. Dermal fillers and Botox injections are great ways for women to enhance their appearance and feel better about themselves. It definitely appears that she has some Botox in this photo! :) She looks great and she loves her results.
