Brothers and Sisters Talks Plastic Surgery

Did you all catch Sunday nights episode of Brothers and Sisters on ABC? Well if you didnt, Nora Walker talks to Sarah about how since they are aging they should consider plastic surgery.

Nora wants a facelift and Sarah just wants a couple Botox shots to the forehead. When Kevin finds out, he also inquires about getting a browlift or a blepharoplasty! In the episode you dont see them go for the consultation but they discuss it before and after the supposed event.

Nora thought that she needed to look younger in order to be taken seriously in a working environment. But in the end Nora's brother Saul Holden convinces her to appreciate her fine lines and wrinkles as memoirs of a great life.

It seems plastic surgery is all over the media these days and pop culture is incorporating it into American sitcoms as well.

Susan Lucci Still Looking Good at 62

Susan Lucci (62) looks incredible for her age. According to MakeMeHeal.com it is speculated that Ms. Lucci has had several procedures done in moderation such as a facelift, browlift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, chemical peels, Botox, and fillers. As the star of All of My Children and with numerous appearances on infomercials and reality shows such as Dancing With The Stars she has shown television longevity and her infamous smile she always has.

Faye Dunaway - Who Thinks She's Seen Dr. Sloan?

Did anyone see the last episode where Faye Dunaway plays Dr. Campbell? I think she may have visited Dr. Sloan while

she was there! Born in 1941 (that makes her 68) she is looking pretty young in the face. It appears as though she has had a facelift, maybe some Botox, perhaps some laser treatments and a blepharoplasty (eye lift). I cannot be sure, but she does have the "pulled" look from a facelift, or perhaps multiple facelifts.

Kathy Hilton knows how to keep a secret

Wife of Rick Hilton, partial heir to the Hilton hotel chain, and mother of famous daughters Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, Kathy has had her fair share in the spotlight. This 49 year old hottie for a mommy looks great for her age but could it be all natural? Nothing wrong there, most women her age would die to look as good as she does!

Her face is smooth and lacking wrinkles indicating she could have had Botox injections as well as dermal fillers to fill in the creases. Who knows, she may have even had a face lift or blepharoplasty as well to give her the well-rested appearance that she has. Her appearance does not necessarily match her age and this could also just be due to good genes; Kudos to you Kathy!

What Turned Norma Jeane Into Marilyn?

Most people who know me, learn very quickly of my absolute admiration for Marilyn Monroe's beauty. I couldn't resist the urge to write about the blonde starlet after recently reading an article in the 25th anniversary issue of Vanity Fair. Though it has been more than twenty-six years since her untimely death, a collection of never-before-seen possessions has revealed more about Monroe's fascinating life. Though she is both stunning and captivating, Norma Jeane Baker's evolution into the blonde bombshell known as Marilyn Monroe, may have been catalyzed by plastic surgery. It is rumored by MakeMeHeal, that upon signing a contract with Twentieth Century-Fox, the rising star underwent a rhinoplasty to lessen the appearance of her bulbous nose, and to refine the tip. She may have also had a procedure done to refine her chin, and may have undergone a blepharoplasty, or eye lift. Even in 1946 celebrities were willing to undergo surgery (although things were much more hush-hush then given the stigma attached to cosmetic surgery); the seemingly-flawless results help boosted Monroe's career. No matter what it took, there is no question that Marilyn Monroe skyrocketed into a pop culture icon, who will never be forgotten.

A Brand New 90210.... And a Brand New Face?

For all you 90's babies, 90210 version 2.0 is here! I'm soo looking forward to see the new story line, the new faces and of course TV's first frienemies Kelly and Brenda. I wonder what their roles will be... guidance counselors? boxing instructor? or maybe Botox/injectibles spokesperson.

Hotgossip.com quoted Shannon Doherty as saying �These are my looks, whether you like them or not. They work for me. I have a gap in the middle of my teeth. You know how many people wanted to cover that gap? My parents are like, �Don�t ever do that! That�s what makes you different!� I was raised to have a lot of confidence and believe in myself,� she said. Now I've seen recent photos of her and she doesn't look like she went running to the Botox fairy once the CW signed her on to do the new 90210. But then again I guess we'll all find out tonight.

However, Ms. Jennie Garth, our beloved Kelly, well that's another story. I always thought she was beautiful, and I remember everyone in elementary school wanted to be like her, but recent pictures of her look a little different. On Awful Plastic Surgery's website Jennie has an extremely smooth forehead and her eyes seem to be pulled open with a little brow elevation. This look may be accredited to Botox, or maybe even a upper and lower lid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift). She may have had some fillers in her laugh lines like Juvederm or Restylane, and she takes great care of the porcelain skin (perhaps a chemical peel in the past?). It doesn't look like she really went overboard, I'll give her that much but I would think at 36 you'd have at least one wrinkle. Can't wait for that season premiere!
