I think she's gorgeous.  And she is rocking the hell out of those bangs.  I think the look is out there, but I like to reward risk taking.  The color works on her, and the jumpsuit fits well, and she went minimal with the accessories which was smart with such a bold look.  I think I really like it...

Emmys 2011: Evan Rachel Wood

I am officially an Elie Saab convert as two of my very favoritest looks from the Emmys were both from the designer. One being red hot Kate Winslet's, and the other being this just screen siren glamour gown worn by Evan Rachel Wood. And, in accordance with my edict that gowns are great with sleeves, ERW had the designer add sleeves to the dress which originally was sleeveless. I've seen it both ways and the tiny cap sleeves do SO MUCH for the dress. It's kind of insane how much of an impact they made for the look. And the sometimes goth and garish ERW did just the right vintagey hair and makeup to really make this a stunner. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Oscars 2010: Rachel McAdams

Rachel McAdams stole the night with this flowy, dreamy, softly printed Elie Saab gown. It was my absolute favorite of the night, and the favorite of many others as she topped many a best dressed list. The criss-cross bust was flattering. And oh the print just had me floating on clouds. It was definitely a standout in a sea of monochromatic.
