Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive
Poor Mr. EWP gets stuck watching red carpet pre-show coverage for
hours before any awards show. He has 2 options when being tortured in this manner: 1) kill himself, or 2) occasionally pay attention.
Anne Hathaway's look was one occasion he decided to look up from his magazine and say something and he said: "Did my grandma loan Anne Hathaway a dress?" Oh, Mr. EWP, you are so funny. And so right.
I really just HATED the poufed shoulders. They were much more severe on TV and they drove me insane. In a bad way. If the shoulders didn't happen, I think I may have liked it. I actually am a fan of long-sleeved gowns these days. Especially with the drapey low backs. Super sexy, but this one sadly missed the mark.

I don't understand how such a successful, beautiful woman can make SO MANY TERRIBLE red carpet choices. JM is a serial red carpet offender. I dont' think I can remember ever seeing anything she wore that didn't make me want to rip my eyes out with a seafood fork. And this white, colum, bejeweled number definitely has me reaching in my silverware drawer. [Yes, I own seafood forks. Doesn't everybody?] I'm pretty sure this was a 7 year old's craft project and she got some plastic bobbles and some glue and put this together. 
I originally thought at first glance this was a Herve Leger dress. Doesn't it look very Herve Leger? I was very disappointed in Armani when I found out this was Armani Prive. Surely they can come up with something better looking than a Herve Leger knockoff. 
I thought this dress and color were just too old looking for Milla. She's young and sexy, why is she wearing this dress, which while super pretty, I'd rather have seen on someone like Helen Mirren?
